What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform insurance verification and obtain necessary authorizations for scheduled patients
- Schedule patients for imaging services and document in the operating system
- Provide patient preparation instructions for scheduled services
- Manage communication through email and fax for assigned practices
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure timely and efficient scheduling

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Excellent customer service or client relations experience in an office or hospital environment
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required
- Associate's degree in a related field or a minimum of two years' experience in patient scheduling, registration, and/or healthcare billing
- Strong literacy skills including grammar, spelling, and math
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook

- Experience in a high-volume call center setting
- Familiarity with patient access processes and healthcare operations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to identify and recommend process improvements
