What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer telephone calls in the scheduling phone queue and handle incoming calls courteously and promptly
- Schedule and reschedule patient exams in the appropriate time slots and facilities
- Verify and update patient information in the Centricity - RIS IC system, including demographics and insurance details
- Navigate the scheduling process, including assigning exam tasks and selecting the correct exams
- Identify correct CPT codes and fees for self-pay exams

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical field preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, patients, and referring physician offices
- Ability to work independently
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred

- Experience in a high-volume scheduling environment
- Proficiency in using medical scheduling software and systems
- Knowledge of imaging studies and related exam preparation guidelines
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle equipment problems and/or irregularities effectively
