What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure patient balances are accurate based on insurance responses and discount programs
- Communicate with guarantors about outstanding balances
- Process payments and establish payment plans
- Advocate for patients and families, providing an extraordinary experience
- Support the overall mission of improving health outcomes for children
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in customer service
- Experience with multiline phone systems
- Experience in collecting payments
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage tasks thoroughly
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems
- Experience with revenue cycle management, particularly in dental
- Familiarity with remote work environments
