About the Role

Work Location: Vadodara,Gujarat.

Reporting to: R&D Manager (Vadodara)

This position involves the technical development and application activities in our film and functional coatings, lactose and other co-processed excipients.

Work cross functionally to drive product innovation, cost savings initiatives and product improvement.

Key responsibilities

• With the guidance of the lab manager, lead our technical efforts from a technical development and manufacturing support perspective to develop our coatings and excipients capabilities in Vadodara.
• Works with Supply Chain and others in Vadodara to ensure new products are commercialized effectively.
• Ensure lab equipment is in good working order and fit for purpose.
• Support customers’ technical & applications via phone/email or in person when needed.
• Support the sales team when assistance with technical support is needed.
• Assist with production issues and procurement of new raw materials as necessary to support our film coating business.
• Color matching support for production and sample requests from customers.

Qualifications and skills

• BS/MS in Sciences or Engineering
• 5-10Years of related experience
• Applicable film coating, Colour matching and excipients experience.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams at multi levels within the organization.
• Languages: English (preferable).
