What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Verify and process invoices for payments related to dining centers and a central production kitchen
- Reconcile vendor statements and ensure accurate posting of payments to the university's accounting system
- Develop and maintain accounts payable procedures in compliance with departmental and university policies
- Analyze accounts payable data and provide recommendations for future purchases and fund reallocations
- Coordinate monthly financial reconciliations and monitor disbursement vouchers for compliance

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related occupational field
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Excellent written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
- Two or more years of progressively responsible experience in a university environment
- Ability to research accounts payable issues and propose solutions
- Experience with Kuali Financial System
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork
