- Experience of being part of a team.
- Full driving licence/provision of a vehicle as you may be required to travel to venues not accessible by public transport.
- An understanding of the needs of elderly, disabled and other vulnerable people in the community.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of using ICT and mobile technology (smart phones/tablets).
- Demonstrable knowledge of working in a care environment, preferably within a domiciliary care or informal setting

Job summary
As a Reablement Support Worker (Swift) you will be assisting people with their daily living activities such as personal care, meal/drink preparation and medication with the aim of helping them back to independence with these activities.
Main duties of the job
Norfolk Swift Response is a service that runs 24/7 to deliver unplanned social care services to adults in their own homes in Norfolk. As a Swift, your duties would include requests to assist uninjured fallers and supporting with one-off personal care needs. Workers usually visit people in their own homes in teams of two.
Both experienced social care workers and those new to care are welcomed to apply. Full training will be provided.

Job responsibilities
With the knowledge and approval of the Reablement Practitioner, to work with service
users, in their own homes, as detailed in their service user plan and agreed outcomes by
providing active support to enable them to live as independently as possible and take
part in the activities of everyday life
To be an active part of the assessment &reablementprocess in delivering and
reviewing the service user plan
To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team liaising with other professionals and
services as necessary to provide the best possible care to service users and their carers
In view of the nature of the work, no information concerning service users must be
communicated to anyone who is not either employed by the Department or attending the
service user in a professional capacity
