What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the acquisition of land and property rights for renewable energy projects, including preparing and reviewing contracts and managing due diligence processes
- Coordinate with title companies to initiate and order title commitments, ensuring accurate ownership information
- Draft, review, and procure real estate agreements, contracts, and leases for renewable energy projects
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to provide real estate expertise during project development
- Oversee comprehensive due diligence activities, including property surveys and title searches
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the real estate industry
- Experience drafting real estate agreements and procuring title
- Experience performing due diligence reviews of land rights
- Ability to analyze existing land rights and provide expert guidance on potential issues
- Strong data management skills and ability to maintain accurate records

- Advanced degrees in relevant fields
- Previous experience in the renewable energy sector
- Familiarity with land management databases and reporting systems
- Established relationships with landowners and governmental agencies
- Strong negotiation skills and stakeholder engagement experience
