What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support administration of special use authorizations for various activities
- Utilize GIS and SUDS database for program administration
- Conduct permit inspections and evaluations
- Draft NEPA documents for projects
- Evaluate special use proposals and process permits
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Knowledge of computers and word processing skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively and maintain a professional image
- Strong written communication skills
- Competency in reading and interpreting maps
- Enthusiasm to learn about public land laws and environmental regulations
