JOB DESCRIPTION

This location is fairly new over the last two years, and this company is growing rapidly. The Showroom Consultant assists as a "design consultant" assisting retail customers in selecting the tile and granite products that will achieve their design and durability objectives. You will be responsible for using your design skills and product knowledge to educate the customer so that they make satisfying product selections to promote the best buying experience available. Product training is provided.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

* Self starter who proactively finds solutions to customers’ needs

* Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and telephone

* Assist Manager with Merchandizing to make the showroom and products visually exciting

* Demonstrate the ability to sketch ideas on paper

* Light Cleaning of showroom and products

* Preparing samples with appropriate identification and information for customers

* Excellent organizational and planning skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Seeking candidates with a customer service mentality -

- Ideally this candidate has one to two years of experience within customer service or administrative work, however this team is open to candidates with retail experience (Target, Crate & Barrel, Home Depot, etc.)

* 2+ years retail sales skills in professional environment

* Basic computer skills working within Windows environment.

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Knowledge of design elements: size, proportion, color, balance and light.
