Job summary
We are looking for a committed individual to join our friendly patient service team working 24 hours per week. The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic team player with great communication skills. Full training and support will be provided when joining our team of receptionists to ensure a high standard patient care is delivered.
Main duties of the job
As a member of our reception team you will be expected to assist patients and members of the public at the reception desk. You will deal with a variety of incoming calls and enquiries and requests for medications. At Central surgery we operate a total triage system, which means all requests to see a doctor, will be screened by a GP prior to the reception team contacting the patient to book an appointment.
Under the supervision of the Patient Services Manager you will assist with the completion of general administration, tasks and requests from the clinical team.
About us
Central Surgery is based in Barton, with a second site in Goxhill. Our large team work at both sites providing primary care services to over 17000 patients. We have 6 GP Partners, 2 salaried GP's, 5 ACP's and a team over 13 nurses and healthcare assistants. Along with our MDT of clinicians, admin and receptionist teams we pride ourselves on being a friendly, supportive workplace.
