      A Brief Overview

      Accountable for receptionist and clerical support of the department. The Receptionist will act as a resource person for the department.

      What you will do

      • Highly visible as the person responsible in greeting patients, families, visitors, and other customer groups.
      • Serves as an information resource for patients, families, staff, and the community regarding events/activities occurring in the facility.
      • Provides oversight by assisting with technology needs, room scheduling, equipment needs, room set-up and tear-down.
      • Assists in maintaining a clean environment and responsible for contacting appropriate facility services personnel as cleaning, maintenance or security needs arise.
      • Answer telephone, operate paging system, attend station and provide general assistance during emergencies.
      • Prepares requisitions as directed and coordinate appointments with respective departments.
      • Accept and schedule appointments and make appropriate entries.
      • Requisition supplies and equipment, maintenance and repair services and prepare related forms.

      The individual must be able to work the hours specified.       Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

      • Bachelor's
      • Less than 1 year experience in clerical office duties
