Job summary
We offer a very high standard of family medicine to our 13,900+ patients. We have 6 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GP's and 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner. We have a robust nursing and administration team, who are very supportive.
Main duties of the job
The normal duties will consist of:
To deal with patients on the telephone in a timely, polite and helpful manner
To welcome patients at reception
To receive and accurately record appointment requests, home visits and repeat prescriptions
Administrative duties dealing with general tasks, issuing prescriptions
Filing / photocopying when necessary
General use of computer system - SystmOne
Any general task as requested
About us
We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic receptionist to join our existing team. It is busy on a day to day basis but the work is rewarding. We have a main branch in the centre of town and a branch surgery in Bessacarr.
