- Greets clients, general public, and staff entering Millard Health in a professional friendly manner.
- Verifies client’s personal information, emergency contact, and explains or assists with appropriate paperwork upon arrival.
- Confirms through the computer system that clients have arrived for services.
- Directs clients and visitors to the appropriate areas within Millard Health.
- Updates client or assessment information in the appropriate databases.
- Answers all external and internal telephone calls and provides general information and direction to clients, staff and the general public.
- Creates, triages, and distributes referral packages.
- Tracks files and orders supplies.
- Updates documentation on daily referral volumes.
- Provides support to the Admissions/Medical Team. (i.e. filing duties, examination room stocking/ cleaning, mail runs, preparing medical packages etc.).
- Completes pre-screening calls and reminder calls for appointments.
- Performs data entry and telephone surveys with clients.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.

Millard Health is a customer-focused organization geared towards excellence in disability management and rehabilitation services. We currently have an opening for someone to join our Receptionist Team. We are seeking an individual who is committed to providing excellent customer service, enjoys a fast-paced work environment, is reliable, works independently and enjoys being part of a larger team environment.
The position of Receptionist also entails working the Millard Health Referral Desk. The Referral Desk is responsible for ensuring timely distribution of referrals to Client Services Coordinators.

· High school diploma supplemented with secretarial courses.
· Experience in a similar working environment.
· Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills required.
· Excellent c ustomer service and team skills.

Salary: $43,022.19 per annum (in Salary Grade 3).
This position is temporary for a period of up to one year with the possibility of extension or permanency. Final candidates for this position are required to undergo a security clearance as a condition of employment.
