      Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):

      $24.000 - $26.770 - $29.530


      The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.



      What You Will Do
      Performs reception, switchboard, and clerical tasks. Provides departmental assistance as needed. Facilitates communication to internal departments as needed while maintaining a warm and caring image for our organization. Assists with visitation needs, escorts and wayfinding as needed.

      Preferred Qualifications
      • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
      • Less Than 1 Year Experience in a business setting answering multiple line phone systems and performing general clerical duties or customer service position.

      Essential Functions
      • Mail processing
        Opens, dates, sorts and distributes department mail.
      • Performs general clerical duties
        Performs filing, collating, stuffing envelopes and other clerical tasks as needed.
      • Receptionist duties
        Meets and greets all visitors; notifies appropriate party of arrival of visitor.
        Assists patients, guests and employees as needed.
        Conducts Patient Look-ups, provides escorts, wayfinding, wheelchair transports and equipment sanitizing as needed.
      • Telephone support
        Answers all incoming calls, screens, transfers and takes thorough messages. Uses paging and/or intercom system as necessary.
      • Typing skills
        May be required to type forms, labels and envelopes.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
      • Can manage and screen telephone calls and deal with multiple calls simultaneously.
      • Able to communicate clearly, politely, accurately and tactfully.
      • Can operate basic office equipment, including typewriter or keyboard.
      • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
