      Main duties of the job

      As a Receptionist at Dingle Park Practice, youll be responsible for greeting and assisting patients, managing appointments, answering phone calls, and directing queries to the appropriate team members. Youll also handle administrative tasks, registrations and updating patient records, ensuring smooth patient flow, and maintaining a welcoming and efficient reception area.

      • Proficient in using office equipment (e.g., phones, computers) and basic software (e.g., Microsoft Office, booking systems).
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
      • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team environment.

      • Experience with EMIS (or similar clinical management software).
      • Previous experience in a medical practice or healthcare setting.
      • Knowledge of medical terminology.
      • Ability to handle patient records and data management.
