- Pleasantly operate the switchboard and answer the telephone, determine the nature of the call and help or direct the caller to the appropriate individual or department.
- Communicate professionally, friendly, and efficiently with callers, striving to minimize the time spent on hold.
- Take thorough messages, indicating the caller’s first and last name, company name if applicable, the time, and the message the caller wishes to leave.
- Provide basic information to callers who have general inquiries.
- Assist with filing duties and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Assist in data entry, filing, organizing, and other administrative duties.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Follow scheduled hours as needed, defined by your manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1 year of experience as a receptionist, office assistant, clerical, or other relevant administrative role is required.
- Ability to operate a multi-line switchboard.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Ability to work well with the public.
- Customer service oriented must have experience working directly with customers.
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software/internet proficiency.
- The position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.

Salary Range:16.81 To 18.00 (USD) Hourly
About your role:
The Receptionist works to greet and direct customers through telephone and in-person communication. They are sometimes the customer’s first and last contact with the dealership and, therefore, must represent the dealership in a friendly, professional manner.
