- Greet and check in/out visitors following established security protocol; greet team members in a courteous manner as they enter and exit the building.
- Monitor non-team member access to the building and ensuring visitors are connecting with team members they are there to see.
- Manage the reception function by notifying the appropriate personnel of visitor arrivals or cancellations, and by providing a comfortable atmosphere for visitors while they wait.
- Manage inquiries from the public and provide general information about the company; possess a clear understanding of what information is to be shared versus information to be kept confidential.
- Coordinate meetings and travel reservations.
- Coordinate the delivery and distribution of small parcels delivered to the reception desk.
- Purchase office supplies as appropriate and as directed; coordinate office equipment check out/in.
- Represent Midco by actively seeking out volunteer and community involvement opportunities.
- Be willing to work on special projects as assigned.
- Manage breakroom upkeep daily and ensure all supplies are stocked.
- Organize engagement opportunities for team members reporting to office.
- Assist with new hire onboarding.
- Obtain and edit team member photos to be used internally.
- Maintain a neat and functional work area.
- Follow and serve as a role model in displaying Midco’s Core Values and Leadership Success Drivers.
- Adhere to Midco privacy guidelines to ensure each customer’s privacy.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by the position.
- Effectively communicate with other departments to handle escalating issues in a timely manner.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Five years minimum previous professional receptionist experience preferred.
- Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office), scheduling tools, and communication platforms is necessary.
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 30 lbs.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
- Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with individuals across all levels of responsibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills help in addressing issues promptly and efficiently.
- Able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure that responsibilities are handled in a timely manner.
- Exhibit organizational skills to maintain efficiency and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.

JOB PURPOSE:
Serve as the initial professional point of contact for visitors and associates entering the building or contacting Midco by telephone and provide support in a general administrative capacity.
The schedule for this position is 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.
