      Job summary

      The Primary care treatment centre are looking for an organised person who excels in communication. You will be supporting a team of nurses who provide an appointment based service within Llandudno Community Hospital.

      The role includes the answering of telephone, booking appointments and compiling paperwork. A good working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Welsh PAS would be advantageous.

      The post is 22.5hours per week, spread over 4-5 days.

      Main duties of the job

      Offer general assistance to services providers and users and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone

      Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way

      Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the General Office including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the team

      Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of staff secondary care and other associated healthcare and wellbeing agencies

      The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
