- At all times provide a professional, calm, friendly, effective and efficient reception service to all visitors to the hospital.
- Book patients into various clinics and direct visitors as necessary.
- Deal with all general enquiries relating to the building and explain procedures when necessary.

- GCSE English Language Level C / Grade 4 or above
- NVQ Business Administration Level 2 or equivalent

Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, helpful and welcoming person, preferably with reception experience, who thrives in a busy, ever changing environment.
You'll contribute to the smooth running of the reception at South Petherton Community Hospital and offer support to colleagues and patients. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors attending the hospital.
Good IT skills are essential, as is a calm and pleasant manner to welcome visitors and answer telephone calls.
