What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate the delivery of re-determination files and dispute resolution documents
- Build and analyze reconsideration/dispute resolution case files to ensure compliance with CMS requirements
- Make decisions based on medical vs. non-medical case types and validity of appeal requests
- Input relevant data regarding reconsiderations and dispute resolution cases into necessary systems
- Support reconsideration/dispute resolution professionals and physician reviewers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of general office experience
- College education or technical training in administration, business, or related areas may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis
- Familiarity with Medicare is preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in a healthcare-related field
- Knowledge of dispute resolution processes and regulations
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
