What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain and manage offender health records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Retrieve health records for scheduled appointments and file offender health data
- Initiate health records for new or transferred intakes
- Prepare reports and ensure records are filed as required
- Review health records and assist with documentation as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screening and criminal background check
- Prior experience with medical records systems and services
- Certification by the American Health Information Management Association as a Registered Health Information Administrator or Registered Health Information Technician preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Completion of a medical terminology course
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
