What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Proactively facilitate collection activities for charged-off loans and accounts using phone and electronic communication
- Negotiate repayment terms and settlement offers in accordance with company guidelines
- Manage all legal accounts pre and post-judgment, including those assigned to third-party agencies
- Conduct extensive skip tracing to connect with members and locate previously unrecovered collateral
- Drive efforts to enhance recovery rates and meet monthly recovery goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two years of college education or equivalent experience
- Five (5)+ years of experience in debt collection
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations such as the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act
- Strong negotiation and skip tracing skills; bilingual in English and Spanish

- Background in financial institutions
- Experience with third-party collections is a plus
