      RECRUITER

      Location: MD HQ – 1740 Twin Springs Rd, Baltimore, MD 21227

      Hours: Monday – Friday, Hybrid consideration after 90 days

      Pay: Hourly/Non-Exempt: $25 - 28/hour

      Position Summary : The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening and presenting qualified candidates to all Envirotest Hiring Managers within the Maryland Program. Ensures all pre-employment and new hire paperwork is complete, prepares files and facilitates weekly New Hire orientation.

      Duties and Responsibilities :

      • Responsible for initiating the hiring process for all potential candidates. This includes sourcing, phone screening, and presenting qualified candidates to Envirotest Hiring Managers.
      • Manages the candidate process in applicant tracking system from pre-employment to hire. This includes coordinating background checks, drug screens, start dates and I9 verifications.
      • Through effective and constant communication, builds positive relationships with Management, ensuring staffing needs are being met and candidate status is updated.
      • Responsible for posting all positions in compliance with State laws.
      • Assists candidates in all phases of the hiring process, including troubleshooting technical issues.
      • Identifies and participates in networking activities and continuously stays current with Recruiting trends to attract candidates for hard to fill positions.
      • Prepares and updates documents related to Recruiting and performs other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications

      • Must have exceptional organizational, time management and customer service skills.
      • Must be able to work with minimal supervision, manage time effectively and maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.
      • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
      • Must be proficient with MS Outlook; Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software and other hiring platforms.
      • Previous Recruiting experience and familiarity with laws, regulations and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment preferred.
      • Must possess a valid MD Driver’s License and be able to travel weekly for Orientation and to other Stations as necessary.
