We are seeking a personable recruiter to join our recruiting team, to support our high volume Chauffeur recruitment efforts supporting our high volume fleet operations working closely with safety and operations teams.

Responsibilities

1. Seek out, interview, and screen applicants to fill openings for various driver positions.
2. Be knowledgeable of current transportation laws and DOT regulations.
3. Interview, screen and analyze information skillfully to obtain a complete application and pre-qualify applications working with the safety department.
4. Coordinate applicant interviews, scheduling with hiring managers through outlook calendars.
5. Act as a resource for applicants with questions about job details, interview process, and general transportation and DOT laws and regulations.
6. Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
7. Maintain class attendance spreadsheet, working with operations and human resources to ensure a great candidate experience.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Experience working with Microsoft Suite; including Outlook, Excel, Word.
5. Strong ability to multi-task and work well in an environment subject to changing priorities and demands.
6. Experience in the transportation field preferred.
7. Developing critical-thinking and analytical skills.
