      This is an exciting, brand new role. As the Recruitment Reseacher you will form a crucial new part of our in-house team and will be tasked with identifying and engaging top-tier talent. Your exemplary skills in headhunting, lead identification, and network building will be instrumental to your success.

      There are two key areas of responsibility. Firstly to conduct proactive sourcing for open roles, providing headhunting and pre-screening activities to identify outstanding candidates. The second is to build talent pipelines that are aligned to overarching workforce planning to create the talent communities that are required for the company to land its future objectives. You will be given all the tools you need to thrive in post, including LinkedIn Recruiter and Insights licenses as well as a suite of branded collateral.

      Activities

      • Work closely with the recruitment team and Hiring Managers to understand near and long term business requirements. Building positive relationships with stakeholders across the business units and work collaboratively with People Group colleagues.
      • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of potential candidates for the current and future hiring needs, prioritising business critical roles.
      • Creating talent maps to proactively build communities of talented candidates to support workforce planning, focused on specialism and location, conducting thorough research to target organisations.
      • Conduct detailed market research to identify potential candidates through various channels including LinkedIn, external databases, social media, sourcing calls and networking events to generate suitable candidates and build communities.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with talent communities, keeping them informed and engaged via maintaining regular personalised communication, sharing appropriate marketing materials and other relevant engagement activities.
      • Represent our brand and act as an ambassador at all times to deliver best in class candidate experiences.
      • Assist in the development and implementation of innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent that ensure ED&I targets are met.
      • Conduct pre-screening and assess candidates, writing clear and meaningful candidate profiles that determine suitability against key criteria for specific roles. Managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and effectively.
      • Provide regular updates and reports on sourcing activities and candidate pipeline status. Identifying areas for improvement and potential risks.
      • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

      Need to know (to be successful in this role, you will need to know):

      • Excellent research skills and possess a natural inquisitive nature.
      • Dynamic communication and proven ability to use creativity and persuasion to encourage candidate engagement and obtain buy in with internal stakeholders (all levels).
      • Experience of creating talent maps and proactive resourcing/candidate attraction.
      • Proven experience in directly sourcing candidates using a variety of attraction methods and strategic recruitment campaign experience.
      • Self-motivated has a positive attitude with exceptional time management skills who can pivot activities to adapt to changing business requirements.
      • Experience using recruitment systems and a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
      • Strong organisation and time-management skills to balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
      • A team player who is eager to contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work atmosphere with a continuous improvement mindset.

      Summary

      The Recruitment Researcher plays a pivotal role in identifying, engaging and securing critical talent for the business. They provide both tactical and strategic support to the recruitment team and ensures a best in class candidate experience. Reporting to the manager they act as a central point of contact for the Recruitment Leads and works with Hiring Managers, Candidates and other internal departments to develop talent pipelines and communities that support company objectives.

      One essential element of the role is to conduct proactive sourcing for open roles, conducting headhunting and pre-screening to identify outstanding candidates. The other is to build talent pipelines that are aligned to company strategic goals and create talent communities to ensure the business can secure the talent it needs to meet its future objectives.Landscape:
      The Resourcing and Talent team form part of People Group, and are responsible for identification, attraction, and selection key talent for the business. The Core Recruitment team is responsible for hiring for FTC, permanent and contractor requirements in all business areas, up and including the Executive Board and the Board of Trustees. The team operate in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is as critical as the ability to connect the dots and see emerging patterns and trends. Close partnership with other areas of People Group, including Recruitment Marketing, HR Business Partnering and People Operations is crucial. The team work in a hybrid approach, using Workday as their Application Tracking System, and Outlook and Teams for much of their communication.
