      Purpose of the Job: The Regional Account Manager will manage the sales territory identified by the Latin American Sales Manager of PanAmerican Seed Co. Also, this position will create information flow to support and expand sales of PanAmerican Seed Co products working with our distribution partners in Central and South America. Ball Horticultural Company’s mission is to Color The World. We do this by developing, producing, and selling flowers and plants around the globe.


      Job Responsibilities

      · Managing and maintaining existing and creating new business for PanAmerican Seed to gain and preserve market share.

      · Manage the territory affectively, effectively, and responsibly by following the guidelines set by the Latin America Sales Manager.

      · Create excitement in the industry about new and existing products in order to promote and execute information flow between PanAmerican Seed and distribution customers in the region.

      · Work with set distributor accounts on pricing, forecasting, new product introduction training, import regulations, and trialing to integrate with internal PanAmerican Seed team on the opportunities and threats identified in the region.

      · Support company sales training and events, i.e. CAST, new product advancement meeting, sales meetings.

      · Work with and support the product managers by giving information needed to introduce products to the market/industry.

      · Support customer events, i.e. field, trials, customer events, joint grower visits with distributors.
