- Build flexible time-standard, costing, and operational models that enable clear measures of productivity, optimized ergonomics and minimization of non-value added activities.
- Manufacturing Process Development:
- Lead identification of issues impeding product flow, applying lean principles to alleviate process bottlenecks and reduce work in progress (WIP).
- Lead injury prevention activities, lost time accidents and human ergonomic factors.
- Lead documentation of current and future value stream mapping of manufacturing or transactions-based processes and drive continuous improvement actions based on the value streams.
- Develop and maintain a Community of Practice (CoP) at the regional and site levels. Leverage the CoP to develop and effectively execute the strategy. Use the CoP to obtain stakeholder input on various issues and as a conduit to implement initiatives
- New Product Introduction - Lead standardization of methods for manufacturing process solutions and optimization of parameters for streamlining of sequences, layouts, and routes to reduce wastes.
- Partner with site technical managers to drive training, development and performance management for site industrial engineering teams by providing consistent performance-related feedback that leads to effective resource plans that supports business growth and technology trends.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma in the development and maintenance pull systems such as KanBan and Two-Bin, Standard Work and Visual Management.
- Ownership of regional and site level projects that are critical for the success of the regional and/or site.
- Lead value stream mapping, design and implementation of effective work stations and creation of standard work including 6S expectations
- Lead lean manufacturing / lead time reduction activities with the regional and site level.
- Travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated 25-33%).
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
- Six (6) years of related experience is required.
- Extensive understanding of manufacturing flow and lean manufacturing principles is required.
- Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.

Purpose Statement: Provide direction to our site Industrial Engineering teams within the AMER region in areas to improve productivity and operational excellence across the manufacturing locations. This role serves as technical specialist for core functions as; manufacturing layouts/flow models, capacity models and ergonomics.
