- Lead and develop a diverse, high-performing, and innovative frontline leader team through mentorship, establishing and utilizing best practices, and putting safety above all else
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues, direct reports, customers (internal and external), business partners, and company leadership
- Support the continual refinement and enhancement of the Crew Tracking MOS (Management Operating System) as well as day-to-day and IROP processes
- Must be available to lead the team on a 3-4 week on-call rotation covering nights and weekends
- Research inquiries from crew members, other departments, and leaders to understand why certain actions were taken and identify areas of improvement
- Engage both frontline leaders and frontline coordinators to deepen bonds of trust and comradery by actively listening and fostering a constructive learning environment
- Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to provide guidance and leadership on training for new employees, recurrent, and process changes
- Drive understanding, communicate change, and take responsibility for compliance with FAR 117/121, Flight Attendant Work Rules, Pilot Working Agreement, and any other governing documents or procedures
- Work to define and drive achievement of metrics to measure effectiveness and success of the group while identifying methods of improvement
- Champion the progression and adoption of new technology platforms in various stages of development; focus specifically on Tracker360, Reroute Optimization Engine, Integrated Crew Hub, and Crew360 in partnership with Crew Tech Product Owners
- Ensure continuity of business processes and procedures by working with Business Continuity Planning and Emergency Management organizations

- Proven track record of successfully working in a cross-departmental team environment, delivering results on time and on budget, and leading a team through stressful situations while remaining calm
- Must have strong business acumen and an ability communicate with professionalism to senior leaders, colleagues, direct reports, crew members, government representatives, labor organization leaders, and customers
- Demonstrable experience with conflict resolution, problem solving, professional development of themselves, strategic/dynamic leadership, and tactful, diplomatic communication
- Must convey professionalism in all interactions, whether virtual or in-person
- Proven Scheduling, Planning, Dispatching, or Airline Operations experience with fundamental knowledge of Delta’s flight schedule and crew systems
- 1 year of previous leadership experience
- Must be performing satisfactorily in current position

- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the Unite d States.
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Experience leading a team of leaders with direct reports
- Current or previous Crew Tracking, Crew Scheduling, or Airport Coordination Center/Tower experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation, or another related field

The Regional Manager of Crew Tracking provides tactical support to drive operational performance, IROP management, and effective resource management. The position leads a team of frontline Supervisors in a 24/7 environment with a strong focus on team development and continuity. Additionally, the position will support strategic initiatives, project governance, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement supporting key operational goals.The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of operational processes with an understanding of crew management, the ability to bring out of the box thinking to a team, and have successful cross functional coordination experience. The candidate will be a proven leader with a track record of developing their people along with leadership presence.
