      We are seeking a Regional Occupancy Planning Lead to manage a team of existing (and growing) OP professionals in developing strategic plans for space usage across programs and business groups, and ensuring accuracy of data and drawings across the regional portfolio. This role will report to the Global Occupancy Planning Lead and be located in the AMER region. The lead also serves as a single point of contact for both the regional account leadership and client leadership.

      AMER Regional Lead, Occupancy Planning and Management

      The Regional Occupancy Planning Lead will play a crucial role in creating and leading a strong OP team in the region. The role oversees roll out of key initiatives for the region and use data, analytical insights and strong problem-solving skills to provide quality control over all regional deliverables. He or she will also need to partner closely with the regional client stakeholders to anticipate and understand the requests coming from different customer organizations, work with the team to assess the space options available and develop options that account for competing priorities and requests.

      Direct reports: 5-7

      Indirect reports: 20-25

      Key responsibilities include:

      • Client Real Estate Single Point of Contact for Occupancy Planning
      • Manage the regional team of Occupancy Planners and Space Planners, as well as related operational functions, to ensure that all space data, held in FM:S, remains accurate and up to date
      • Oversee collection of current state occupancy data and future forecast from the Client, and support stack/ block and migration planning across the region
      • Ensure consistent delivery of process and data managed by the team
      • Lead & Assist with Account specific Occupancy Planning / Portfolio Planning meetings
      • Responsible for ensuring global KPIs are being measured and achieved regionally
      • Support any global initiatives, such as yearly forecasting processes, by leveraging regional contacts and relationships
      • Accountable for OP Quarterly & Monthly Business Reporting to the client as required.
      • Maintain a strong connection with the global Occupancy Planning community within JLL ensuring you are bringing best practices to and from the account team and involved in platform initiatives
      • Ensure you are aware of all Occupancy Planning products; the technologies surrounding them and to ensure that go to market models maximize profitability while meeting client needs

      Requirements

      • Educated to degree level, along with minimum of experience in corporate real estate environment and familiarity with activity-based working, change management, and utilization tracking and reporting.
      • MBA is preferred.
      • Previous experience in space/occupancy planning at a strategic level, plus experience with interior office renovations is highly desirable as well as working across multiple countries and cultures.
      • You’ll need to be dynamic and technologically savvy and be able to utilize software to support planning solutions and communicate ideas clearly with planning team and lines of businesses.
      • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and CAFM tools.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to consolidate data and floor plans into Power Point for presentations to client and lines of business is highly valued.
      • Be inquisitive, proactive and innovative with solutions for your stakeholders.
      • Excellent communication skills – both written and spoken.
      • The ability to work independently, multi-task, and manage your time to meet deadlines.
      • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients.

      Estimated compensation for this position is:

      126,800.00 – 183,900.00 USD

      The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
