As of January 1, 2025, the new salary range will be $50,633 - $88,607.
Position is home based in the Charlotte area and is responsible for coordinating regional planning with the Local Health Departments for counties in PHP&R’s western region. Those counties include: Anson, Cabarrus, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Stanley and Union.
The Regional Planner position will develop all-hazards regional preparedness plans based on federal requirements, including evaluation, assist with the development of county preparedness plans for counties within the Cities Readiness region, coordinate and conduct collaborative meetings with regional partners, coordinate training activities, provide education and technical assistance on best practices in preparedness, support documentation needs, and write reports. This position requires regular travel to counties in the region and occasional travel to other areas of the state. This position is subject to after-hours recall.
