      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Answer incoming calls, assess callers’ needs, and direct them to appropriate personnel
      - Schedule new patients, referrals, and returning patients in accordance with physician guidelines
      - Obtain and enter insurance authorizations and manage correspondence in patient charts
      - Collect co-pays and other out-of-pocket amounts during patient visits
      - Maintain office scheduling templates and assist with financial counseling for patients

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or equivalent required
      - 0-3 years of experience, preferably in a medical office setting
      - Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is a plus
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 3+ years of office experience, preferably in a medical office setting
      - Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and coding
      - Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
      - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
      - Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently
