What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls, assess callers' needs, and direct them to appropriate personnel
- Schedule new patients, referrals, and returning patients according to office guidelines
- Obtain and enter insurance authorizations and manage patient charts in electronic medical records
- Collect co-pays and other out-of-pocket amounts at the time of patient visits
- Maintain the primary office scheduling template and assist with financial counseling for patients

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0-3 years of experience, preferably in a medical office setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3+ years of office experience in a medical office setting for Level 2 candidates
- 5+ years of office experience in a medical office setting for Level Sr candidates
- Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and coding for Level Sr candidates
