What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls, assess needs, and direct calls to appropriate personnel
- Schedule new and returning patients in the computer system, ensuring compliance with office guidelines
- Obtain and enter insurance authorizations and manage patient charts in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket amounts at the time of visit
- Maintain scheduling templates and assist with financial counseling for patients as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0-3 years of experience, preferably in a medical office setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3+ years of office experience, preferably in a medical office setting
- Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and coding
