Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Regional Property Manager to work within their highly skilled and high performing Property team.

This role will be based around the Bristol area but you will be responsible for our depots locations across the Region to include Depots in South Wales and West London travel to these depots will be a mandatory part of your role.

As a Regional Property Manager you will ensure that all of our properties in the region are maintained in accordance with our lease responsibilities, serviced and kept in good working condition and legally compliant. You will be responsible for all furniture, decoration, refurbishment, minor building works, alterations and damage repair within our Depots.

Other Responsibilities of this role will include

• Liaising with a number of internal and external stakeholders over issues relating to property and Depots. This will include Contractors, Landlords and Surveyors as well as Senior Internal Managers and other Departments within DPD, security, transport, H&S, Engineering.
• Managing business expectations for Projects around Property construction. These vary from depot refurbishments through to monitoring new build construction projects and managing final fit out works.
• Ensuring quality contractor work in accordance with Landlord conditions.
• Planning, costing and implementation of New Sites.
• Auditing our Depots to ensure that they are in excellent condition, all issues have been reported as per company procedure and property is correct and accounted for.
• Facilities knowledge and legislative and compliance in regard to maintenance contracts.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for;

• Previous experience within a similar role demonstrating an understanding around property construction and managing Projects and Processes around that is essential for this role.
• Experience managing projects from inception through to completion.
• Experience from either a previous client side role or possibly from a consultancy background.
• A Building Surveying qualification or RICS qualification would be advantageous.
• Facilities knowledge along with legislative and compliance knowledge and experience.
• Have strong organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise workloads due to overseeing a number of locations.
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels and in a variety of formats
• Have a flexible and adaptable approach to work, location and hours worked.

• A Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role due to travel to numerous locations and this may also result in some over night stays.
