What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive, manage, and execute the business and revenue plan for a sales region
- Recruit, hire, and train Area Sales Managers
- Prepare forecasts, territory management, and growth plans
- Identify and generate new leads through research, networking, and referrals
- Travel within the regional territory to build relationships, demonstrate products, and close business
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 8 years as a sales leader in the automotive space selling into dealerships
- Proven success in selling solutions or services to dealerships with a deep understanding of dealership operations
- Track record of meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales goals
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and manage a high-performing sales team
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM methodically for sales success
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities
- Experience executing a formal sales process from prospecting to closing
