IAA, an RB Global, Inc. company, is seeking a Regional Transportation Manager to join our team! This is a remote WFH role that will require frequent travel to support states within our East Region ( CT, DE, GA, MA, MD, ME, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, SC, VA, VT)

The Region Transportation Manager leverages the region/local towing service providers’ network, consisting of thousands of participants, to generate incremental revenue and profitability for the company. This job will focus on optimizing the logistics capabilities of the towing network, identifying improvement, and managing associated incentive programs to encourage engagement in local towing solutions. This position will also focus on procurement efforts to leverage optimal loaded-mile logistics to build density across the IAA tower network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the On Time Performance of the regions towing program against service level agreements
• Build and communicate daily and weekly performance reports and provide critical commentary about needs and results
• Liaison between our client and transportation providers ensuring the client experience on service and delivery are met
• Develop regional/local actions and programs that will result in improved tower network - Acquisition, Participation, and Retention
• Implement a common carrier strategy to partner with the cost effective and reliable carriers, including participating in quarterly business reviews.
• Develop and implement a system designed around Key Performance Indicators that measure and improve tower transportation performance, inbound delivery, and other measures.
• Manage relationships with transportation-related vendors that provide services to assigned region(s).
• Collaborates with centralized transportation teams to ensure success through all ongoing deliverables
• Participates in any transportation sourcing events
• Develop medium and heavy duty towing and disposal network
• Tow app regional training
• Build a strong and comprehensive dispatch team that is dispersed across the region

Competencies:

• Towing / logistics industry knowledge and experience
• A strong acumen with On Time Performance (OTP) management
• Experience in service provider network management
• Ability to analyze data for insights and formulate a recommendation for action
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform meaningful analysis of the regional transportation network and effectively communicate analysis to management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Strong soft skills in the areas of relationship building and leadership

Additional Information:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Operations, Logistics, or related discipline
• 5-7 Years of related work experience
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite
• Open to 50% travel for work purposes

New York Residents Only: The Salary range for residents of the listed above starts at $75,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience and certifications.
