      Description

      The Regional Vice President will guide the leaders of assigned skilled nursing facilities to meet our high standards of care and generate strong and consistent operating and financial performance.

      The RVP directs the overall operation of the assigned communities including service provision, financial, human resources, licensure compliance and census development while ensuring the assigned communities comply with policies, procedures and all federal/state regulations.

      The Regional Vice President of Operations will support the Corpus / Central Region. Robstown, Rockport, Corpus Christi, Alice, San Diego, Yoakum, Cuero, Port Lavaca, Edna, Kingsville, and George West.

      Functions include:

      • Evaluate corporate policies and adherence to procedures through community tours, communication with staff and residents, record reviews and visual reviews of community practices
      • Visit assigned communities regularly to monitor compliance of policies and procedures
      • Engage with community leadership to support and mentor, enabling them to effectively fulfill their responsibilities and improve their skills
      • Ensure Administrators are held accountable for the following: census growth, resident care, state and federal survey processes, budget management, a defined return on investment, an effective business plan, positive employee relations and implementation of and adherence to the company’s programs and philosophies
      • Implementing cost saving initiatives and revenue creation strategies
      • Ensure the quality of care and service delivered is of the highest level
      • Train and manage the Regional Operations team
      • Guide the Regional team to achieve set goals
      • Make a significant contribution towards building the census in each facility

      Qualifications


      Education / Licensing:

      Bachelor’s degree in related field

      Texas Nursing Home Administrator License is required

      Experience:

      Minimum of 5 years of multi-facility management/Area/Regional experience in a long term care environment is required

      Comprehensive understanding of state and federal licensure and regulations relating to the skilled nursing industry

      Ability to communicate, direct and motivate effectively

      Demonstrated ability of a successful team builder and leader

      Demonstrate exceptional business acumen

      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

      Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information

      Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and residents

      Travel Requirement:

      Up to 75%
