What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Improve the quality and completeness of clinical documentation through review and modification processes
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure accurate documentation for reimbursement purposes
- Conduct follow-up reviews to clarify documentation in patient records
- Monitor compliance with core measure quality indicators and address documentation issues
- Educate healthcare team members on documentation, coding, and reimbursement methodologies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current RN Licensure in the State of Georgia
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional nursing experience
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Working knowledge of DRG coding optimization strategies and clinical documentation requirements

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CCDS or CDIP certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or additional education in Finance and Healthcare regulations
- Experience in Healthcare Utilization and Revenue Management
- Familiarity with ICD10 coding conventions and medical terminology
- Leadership experience in a healthcare setting
