      Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join our team! The Regulatory Reporting Analyst is responsible for the review and reporting of Mortgage Call Report (MCR) data, specific State data, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data and support of Atlantic Bay's SAFE Act and NMLS Compliance Program.

      What you'll be doing
      • Managing and maintaining data for HMDA, MCR, and State Reporting.
      • Supporting licensing during peak seasons, such as renewals and Continuing Educations questions.
      • Supporting licensing with the maintenance of Atlantic Bay's multi-state licensure database of more than 100 locations and 250 Mortgage Loan Officers. This support includes assisting with required filings for Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group and its mortgage loan originators, responding to license requests, license surrenders, location updates, terminations, and control persons reporting.
      • Facilitating the collection of MCR data from mortgage and consumer lines of business on a quarterly basis. This includes data scrubbing, quarterly reminders and working with other departments for required information, updating MCR in NMLS and data review.
      • Assisting with required filings for Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group and its mortgage loan originators, responding to license requests, license surrenders, location updates, terminations, and control persons reporting.
      • Facilitating the collection of state data for specific state requirements including but not limited to: Delaware, West Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
      • Facilitating the collection of HMDA data from mortgage and consumer lines of business on a regular basis. This includes running quality edit checks to verify accuracy of the data, reviewing loan files as needed to validate information reported on the HMDA LAR, communicating errors to the business lines for review and correction, and providing feedback to management on areas requiring improvement to ensure accuracy of the data.

      What you'll bring
      • At least 5 years of experience in financial services focused on regulatory compliance, risk management, operations, or legal affairs
      • Mortgage experience is required, NMLS knowledge of both federal and state requirements is a plus
      • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, government, political science or equivalent preferred
      • Demonstrated customer service experience
      • Proficient in interpreting, analyzing, and understanding regulatory, MCR data, and HMDA data requirements
      • General understanding of applicable loan file documentation and underwriting policies.
      • Attention to detail and very task oriented
      • Knowledge of HMDA and/or CRA software
      • Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
      • Strong communication written, verbal and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to manage concurrent tasks and responsibilities
      • A strong sense of self-initiative and drive
