What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process a high volume of 500+ patient demographic entries into the billing tool daily
- Ensure accurate data entry and notate accounts to enhance the patient experience
- Perform quality control of daily entries by cross-referencing internal intelligence for accuracy
- Set up insurance plan types in the billing platform for clean claim submissions
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and communicate information with insurance providers while adhering to HIPAA guidelines

What is Required (Qualifications):
- A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in professional and facility billing and collections
- Proficient in identifying insurance and plan types accurately
- Experience with contacting and following up with insurance carriers on front-end rejections preferred
- Must have above-average typing skills and be proficient in using a computer
- High school diploma or equivalent

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with laboratory billing, EDI enrollment, payer portals, and national as well as regional payers
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, including Excel
