What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process a high volume of 500+ patient demographics entries into the billing tool daily
- Ensure accurate data entry and quality control of information in the billing tool
- Create and set up insurance plan types in the billing platform for clean claim submissions
- Verify patient insurance eligibility using electronic payer portals while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Accurately identify and assign billing codes to patient orders to generate anticipated price markers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in professional and facility billing and collections
- Proficient in computer use, accurate data entry, and above-average typing skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with laboratory billing, EDI enrollment, and national as well as regional payers is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with contacting and following up with insurance carriers on front-end rejections
- Knowledge of Xifin billing platform
