What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage consumers and assist them in managing their delinquent accounts
- Utilize a consultative approach to help consumers identify suitable solutions
- Negotiate to resolve balances due while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Manage a workload of delinquent accounts and ensure compliance with documentation
- Adhere to the FDCPA and other collection regulations at all times
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree is a plus but not required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Collections, Sales, Telemarketing, Medical Billing, Call Center, Customer Service, or Banking
- Must have reliable attendance and transportation
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade and negotiate
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a similar role within the collections or customer service industry
- Familiarity with skip tracing techniques
- Previous experience working in a remote environment
- Bilingual skills in Spanish and English
