What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage consumers and assist them in managing their delinquent accounts
- Negotiate to resolve outstanding balances in the best interests of all parties
- Maintain and manage a workload of delinquent accounts to ensure timely completion of payments
- Properly document consumer accounts and follow up on missing documentation
- Abide by FDCPA and other Federal and State collection regulations at all times
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree is a plus but not required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Collections, Sales, Telemarketing, Medical Billing, Call Center, Customer Service, or Banking
- Must attend the full training schedule
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade and negotiate
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a remote work environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as assigned
- Experience with auto dialer systems
- Familiarity with skip tracing techniques
- Knowledge of compliance regulations in debt collection
