What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Correct, complete, and process claims for all payer codes, ensuring accuracy in billing
- Daily key punching and documentation completion in the EMR for timely billing claims
- Input ancillary services and review postings before claim submission
- Answer billing phone calls and provide exceptional customer service regarding billing inquiries
- Resolve claim denials and issues with claim payments in a timely manner

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- CPC Certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of billing and coding experience, preferably in outpatient/medical practice
- Training or background in ICD-10 / CPT codes
- Knowledge of medical terminology and billing practices

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with community-based organizations
- Some knowledge of bookkeeping and office functions
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with all payer codes and programs offered by the employer
