What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct thorough reviews of clinical documentation and diagnostic results for accurate coding
- Apply ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS codes and modifiers for billing and regulatory compliance
- Interact with hospital staff, physicians, and revenue cycle team members as needed
- Attend workshops and webinars for coding compliance and continuing education
- Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of professional coding experience
- Certification from AHIMA or AAPC (Apprentices will not be considered)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and Official Coding Guidelines
- Strong time management and critical thinking skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in pro-fee and facility coding
- Participation in continuing education for coding compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
