Providing telephone counselling to a case load of Children and young people, short, medium, longer term sessional work with a varied mix of client presenting problems.
Conducting mental health triage assessments
Assessing and managing risk to clients and others as required
Working in adherence to professional standards and compliance with regulatory framework
Recognised Counselling diploma qualification (Level 4) or higher
BACP Accredited
3 Years post qualification
2 years + experience in Children and Young People (CYP Mental Health) / CAMHS services
Preferably previous experience providing telephone counselling over short, medium or longer term
Experience in working with complex cases is desirable
Strong IT skills – experienced MS Office packages (including preferably MS Teams) – this is a busy computer and phone-based role
Equivalent to 25 days holiday per year, increasing through length of service, with option to buy or sell.

Remote Counsellor/Psychotherapist (Children and Young Adult)
BACP Accredited
Nationwide – remote
Salary -£36,500 based on FT hours. Part-time hours also available pro rata.

Our Accredited Counsellors work 8-hour shifts covering the hours between 8am to 8pm, weekends as required to manage a case load of telephone counselling clients.
