What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct independent fact-finding investigations for complex workplace misconduct cases
- Develop interview questions, conduct interviews, and gather supporting documentation
- Analyze statements and documentation to assess the validity of allegations
- Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing findings and recommendations
- Provide briefings to client management on legal interpretations and next steps

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience conducting administrative investigations and drafting reports
- Bachelor's degree desired, or a minimum of 10 years of relevant investigative experience within the federal government
- Four (4) years of experience in federal employment law and regulation
- 8 to 10 years of experience in employee relations administration within a federal agency of at least 600 employees
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Active or recent federal security clearance
- Experience providing employee relations counseling and guidance in a federal context
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- In-depth understanding of negotiated agreements and their impact on employee relations
- Advanced analytical and communication skills
