What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of payroll, budget, and grant functions for the Health Sciences Center
- Manage and maintain the HSC Oracle HR Module, ensuring accurate personnel funding sources and payroll records
- Create and analyze operating budgets for all HSC colleges and units, ensuring accuracy and compliance with planning calendars
- Develop and maintain various revenue and expense models to support financial planning and decision-making
- Act as a key resource for HSC leadership on personnel, salary, and budget policies, providing training as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in financial operations, preferably in a health care or academic environment
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in ORACLE Payroll and Financial Information Systems
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access

- Experience with budget management in a university or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with Axiom Budget System and Oracle data extraction
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to train and support staff in financial processes
- Experience in project management and working with complex data analysis
