What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform computer data entry of prescription orders and medical records with a focus on accuracy
- Contact physician's offices for refill authorization and verify orders with clients as needed
- Process new and refill prescriptions, ensuring compliance with productivity and quality standards
- Document correspondence and follow up within the system to maintain communication
- Provide high standards of customer service through answering incoming calls and assisting clients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements
- Experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred
- Must currently reside in a state where the employer is licensed (AZ, CO, FL, IL, IN, KS, MA, MI, MO, PA, OH, WI)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Minimum one year of pharmacy data entry experience
- Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology
- Experience with Frameworks and Docutrack software
