What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls from patients, providing excellent customer service
- Register new patients and verify insurance information
- Document accurately within various systems (XPM, CRM, EHR)
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve customer complaints
- Schedule patient appointments and provide necessary medical guidance via phone
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant Diploma or Certification required
- Minimum of one year experience in a call center environment
- Familiarity with automated call distribution, IVR, and skill-based routing systems
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking proficiency required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with XPM and CRM systems
- Previous customer service experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
- Ability to handle high-acuity patient inquiries effectively
